How many lives have been taken away By those who have driven drunk?
No less than KILLERS driving our streets, Ending innocent lives by the bunch.
The ones who KILL yet live themselves, Are knocking families to their knees,
Left to grieve in pain for a lifetime, Their loved ones no more to see.
The law does not protect against These KILLERS at the wheel,
For when it's time to face the courts, They're given another appeal!
Let's try to just imagine The loss of our loved one's life
To such a selfish horrendous act, Who has paid a KILLER'S price.
When driving drunk and blinded, No responsibility do they show,
These demons who drive so aimlessly, Snuffing out lives wherever they go.
I cannot feel the loss inside And pray that I never will;
If a child of mine lost their life, Then mine would surely stand still.
So please let's bow our heads in prayer To the memory of all who've been claimed
And for the families that are left crying For this needless act of shame!

Drunken Murderers
How many lives have been taken away By men who have driven drunk?
They are no less than Killers, Flooding our highways by the bunch!
These men who murder daily, Bringing families to their knees;
They suffer grief and sorrow For all the world to see.
The law does not protect against These Murderers at the wheel,
For when it's time to face the courts, They're given another appeal!
Let's try to just imagine The loss of our loved one's life
To such a horrendous act, Who has paid a Killer's price.
When driving drunk and blinded, No responsibility do they show,
These men who drive so aimlessly, Snuffing out life wherever they go.
I cannot feel the loss inside, And pray I never will;
If a child of mine lost their life, Then mine would stand right still.
Please all write to your congressman, And say you demand to see
Killers put away for life To protect folks like you and me.
